Acceptable Use Policy
We
are a professional, high speed, high capacity internet
communications provider. Thus, we require individuals
and businesses hosting with our servers must follow our
Usage Guidelines. Organizations distributing
material on our servers not to our guidelines will be
disconnected without notice. ProvideNet IT reserves
the right to refuse service to any individual or entity
not following our Usage Guidelines or having a history
of such abuse from other providers.
Any
individual or entity hosting on our service or using any
form of bandwidth from ProvideNet IT, while violating our
Usage Guidelines, is subject to a forced disconnect fee
of $1000, and $1000 per day that abuse occurred. In
addition, actual labor charges and service interruption
of other customers caused by this abuse of our Usage
Guidelines, will be the responsibility of the
Abuser.
ProvideNet IT will not host sites containing or promoting any of
the following:
- Violence
- Discrimination based on race, sex,
religion, nationality, disability, sexual
orientation, or age
- Unlawful activities
- Use of unsolicited bulk e-mail or spam
- The use of pyramid schemes or other related schemes
- Content that is threatening, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene or harassing
- Violation of intellectual property rights
- Nudity or pornographic material
SPAM or unsolicited mail will not be tolerated on
our network including all dial up points, high
speed access or any other type of bandwidth
access. Violators are subject to immediate
termination and above mentioned disconnect fees and any
charges incurred in the investigation of abuse and
findings.
A Web site mentioned in SPAM mail that is hosted on our
servers is subject to immediate disconnect and fees in
schedule above, whether or not the SPAM was sent through
our system.
If you are unsure if your site meets our criteria, or you believe a site on our server violates this policy, please Contact Us with the URL and
alleged violation and we will immediately review the
situation. ProvideNet IT, in keeping with our usage
policy and mission statement, reserves the right to
refuse service to any person or
business.
